Quality that works on the floor,
not just on paper.

Consulting and hands-on support for quality management systems, audit readiness, failure investigation and process improvement – practical, measurable and tailored to your organization.

01 / Services

What we do

Quality solutions built together with the people who do the work – so they actually stay in use.

01

Quality management systems

Building a lean, clear QMS to ISO 9001, AS9100 and other standards – procedures people actually read and use.

02

Audit readiness & internal audits

Gap analyses, internal audits and support through certification and customer audits – arrive prepared, leave without surprises.

03

Failure investigation & root cause analysis

Structured RCA and 8D investigations that reach the real root cause and end with corrective actions that work.

04

Risk management & FMEA

Spotting early what could go wrong in design and process, and prioritizing prevention resources wisely.

05

Supplier quality

Defining requirements, evaluating and controlling suppliers and the supply chain – because your quality starts with theirs.

06

Training & workshops

Hands-on training for teams and managers, built on real cases, that changes how the organization thinks about quality.

02 / Approach

Practical quality, step by step

No paperwork for its own sake. Every step is measured by one thing: does it improve results on the floor.

  1. 01

    Assess

Getting to know the organization, its processes and people. Mapping gaps, risks and opportunities.

  2. 02

    Plan

A focused work plan with clear goals, timelines and defined ownership.

  3. 03

    Implement

Working closely with the teams – simple tools, on-site training and support until it works.

  4. 04

    Measure & improve

Metrics that show what changed, and a continuous improvement loop that keeps going after we're done.

03 / How it works

Two main ways to work together – based on what you need

Start with focused help on a single topic, or get ongoing quality, engineering or project management. We set the scope together and adjust it as needs change.

Track 1

Focused support

No ongoing commitment – solve what's urgent now.

  • Training, workshop or targeted help up to 10 hours a monthA question, a problem or one topic that needs closing – quickly and professionally.
  • Team training in your organization up to 20 hours a monthYour team learns to apply quality that fits the organization: failure assessments, quality plans, standard requirements, failure analysis reports and quality objectives.
Track 2

Quality, engineering or project management

Ongoing support for at least six months, scaled to the size of your organization.

  • One day a week up to 10 hours a week · ~45 a monthFor small organizations that need steady leadership and team training.
  • Extended scope 10–15 hours a week · ~45–67 a monthFor small to mid-sized organizations looking for professional management and updated procedures and specifications.
  • About half-time 15–25 hours a week · ~67–113 a monthFor mid-sized organizations that need a professional manager – including acting as your appointed manager with customers and suppliers, and supplier support.

How are hours counted? The hours are an upper limit. Only the hours actually worked are counted, month by month – including travel to your site or your suppliers, which counts as working time.

  • On-site or remoteAt your plant, at your suppliers, or by video and phone – whatever works for you.
  • Full access to informationTo do it right, I work with your organization's real data and documents.
  • Hebrew & EnglishFluent work with customers, suppliers and teams in Israel and worldwide.

04 / Systems

8D Hub – event management software

Software I developed for managing quality, safety, environmental, maintenance and other events – from opening to closure, following the 8D method, with professional guidance built into every field.

  • Guidance in every fieldThe system teaches as you work: what to write, why it matters and what a good answer looks like.
  • Root cause on three levelsHow the failure was created, why it wasn't detected and why it wasn't prevented – with 5-Why, 6M, FTA, FMEA and IS/IS-NOT.
  • Working together with suppliersSuppliers see only their own reports and complete their steps; the quality manager sees everything. Protection against conflicting edits.
  • Statistics dashboardCategory, severity, source, monthly trend, costs and owner performance – and every figure drills down to the reports behind it.
  • Export in 5 languagesWord, HTML and Excel in Hebrew, English, French, Spanish and German – including a full supplier form for signature and a management-ready report.
  • Costs & lessons learnedDocumenting the cost of the problem and lessons that turn every event into an organizational asset.

Custom management systems – built with you

With the same practical approach, we can develop together systems for quality management, documentation and control, tailored exactly to your organization's processes:

  • Nonconformance & NCR management
  • Corrective & preventive action tracking
  • Documents, procedures & work instructions
  • Control plans & inspection forms
  • Dashboards & KPIs
  • Supplier management & evaluation

05 / Case Studies

Learning from failures – before they happen

Case analyses from engineering and industry, and the practical lessons any organization can apply.

CASE / TITAN

The Titan submersible

What happens when engineering decisions are made without a quality system to stop them in time.

CASE / B2

The B-2 Spirit crash

Analyzing the accident with the 6M method – breaking a complex failure down to its root causes.

All videos → The evolution of failure analysis (FMEA) → Most videos are narrated in Hebrew.

06 / About

Hi, I'm Nitsan

I founded Practical Quality on a simple belief: a good quality system is one that people on the floor understand, trust and use every day – not a binder that only gets opened before an audit.

I work closely with management and teams, translate standard requirements into the language of daily work, and build tools with you that prevent problems, save time and money, and strengthen your customers' trust.

A Technion mechanical engineer with an MBA, leading quality and engineering in industry since 1997. My drive to learn, teach and share comes from industrial Zionism – the conviction that Israeli industry, in Israel and around the world, must grow stronger. I'm here to help make that happen.
